Advanced training for opera singers

“There is only one aspect that improves singing skills: proper phrasing and diction”

The training is aimed at singers that have reached a certain technical level.
This stage could be conceived as a Major or Master degree, a “prelude or preparation for the stage“.

Seminars are supervised and/or given by Melodramma’s Artistic Director:
Maestro Concertatore and Conductor Ronaldo Rosa De Scalzo
(Ex-Artistic Director School for Opera singers, Teatro alla Scala, Milan, Italy).

Regisseurs and other opera professionals are involved; they also include the visit of  Teachers from abroad and International Artists

Main contents:

–Advice and definition of the repertoire
Define the most suitable repertoire for each artist, to ensure vocal health and longevity.

–“Concertazione” work:
Link vocal expression to the intentionality and content expressed by the word.

Aims:

-Preparation for stage.
-Preparation for auditions.
-Preparation for international singing contests.

Structure of sessions:

-Weekly classes in studio / classroom
-Masterclasses in auditorium.
